San Francisco has hosted America’s biggest Fleet Week since 1981. The weeklong event run by a non-profit organizing committee is designed “to honor the contributions of the men and women of the United States Armed Forces and to advance cooperation and knowledge among civilian- and military-based Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response personnel.”
